It is with great honor and pleasure that we would like to invite you to partake in the First International Congress on Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery. As a joint effort of several institutions, the Universidad de Guadalajara, the OPD Hospital Civil de Guadalajara, and the Hospital San Javier, this event will take place from 24 th to 29 th April 2006 in the City of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

We are currently living in a new millennium with impressive scientific advances in the communications, technological development and investigation areas worldwide, so medical doctors who are engaged in Neurosciences are responsible for offering the Mexican community with new treatment options for CNS injuries.

The organization committee has planned to offer you a highly stimulating and dynamic scientific program. Lectures will cover several aspects of current problems related with CNS injuries under a minimal invasion concept. We are certain that this congress will be a launching deck for the exchange of experiences and knowledge, and for sharing ideas with internationally renowned professors.
